Appeals

Appeal to the local tax assessor: November 15 (R.I. Gen. Laws § 44-5-26(a)). The Rhode Island appeal page sets out every step with its source. Other states: Connecticut, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire.

Left out: West Warwick (The state table's residential column (14.29) equals the footnote's rate for apartments of six or more units, and its commercial column (22.62) differs from the footnote's commercial rate (25.20); the footnote lists four rates: $22.62 one family, $15.29 two to five family, $14.29 apartments 6+ units, $25.20 commercial and industrial. Not ranked until the table and footnote agree.).
